Giovanni Ferrer, known by most as Gio, is an Los Angeles based content creator whose curls and charm have taken social media by storm. Virginia native with African American and Filipino roots, Gio always had a love for the spotlight. He became involved in fashion at an early age and started pursuing his dream of becoming a model in local fashion shows and music videos.  Since then, a different trait has become the highlight of Gio’s attention - His stunning long, curly hair! Gio's curls have opened the doors to the world of social media.  The constant questions he was getting from friends and strangers alike about his hair motivated him to start his YouTube channel, Gio’s Wave. Today, his “Curly Hair” vlogs, have gone viral drawing-in millions of viewers across his social media platforms. Gio's curls and creative overall style have caught the eye of major brands like Shea Moisture, Gillette, Aussie, and Ubrelvy to name a few.
